The Grapes of Math

On the Grapes of Math, the fish answer was 16. I liked the book. I read it to my Kindergarten class. I can figure out the answers faster than my mom. On the front cover there are 2 bunches of grapes that have 9 grapes and 2 bunches of grapes that have 6 grapes. Mom tried to add 9+9=18 and 6+6=12 then tried to add 18+12. It was taking her forever! I added 6+9=15, then doubled 15! That equals 30! Then if you add the back, it makes 60 grapes! I can add fast! There are 16 answers on all the pages.

The end.

Stockton,

Do you want to check my blog sometime?

Stockton - you can add better than my students. Ex. When I give a problem that they have to add 3 plus 1/2, most of them reach for their calculator. You should come to my class to show them how to add.

My favorite book isn't The Grapes of Math, but one of my favorites is The Grapes of Wrath.

The Grapes of Wrath was so boring! At least it was in 11th grade. I have no desire to read it again!

I remember before I started reading The Grapes of Wrath that Steph told me that it was bad, then I started reading it and was way confused, I think she was talking about a different book. Then again, Steph doesn't like Best in Show. So...Anyway, Stockton, I think my most favorite book is a book called Of Mice and Men. Do you like Dr. Seuss books? I liked his books when I was your age.
